The perfect dress for your winter micro wedding? Here are my personal selections!
Spring and summer seasons always continue to be the most popular for weddings, thanks to the new pandemic unknown too which, with warmer temperatures, leaves a little more room to life. If we add that the colors of May flowers are perfect for romantic souls and the warm rays of the summer sun allow outdoor receptions, here is the evergreen combination of beautiful season and weddings.
But not all brides dream of getting married in a warm sunny day or of having an al fresco dinner under the stars. Some wish to say “I do” wrapped in warm and comfortable clothes while the snow falls outside, with the backdrop of the magnificent Dolomites – the Italian Alps where the magical Lake of Braies is located – or immersed in the magical and glamorous Lake Como atmosphere, super romantic for an elopement in winter too!
For those who choose this kind of celebration, a winter wedding dress is essential. So, I’ve personally selected some of my favorite ones and can’t wait to hear what you think!
What is the right winter dress for a dream micro wedding in Italy?
Not all winter wedding dresses are equal, of course. It largely depends on the style of your wedding, the venue, your physical shape and your personal taste as a bride.
For the brides who love tradition, lace is always a mush and so are the wide tulle skirts. Both whimsical designers Berta and Galia Lahav have several proposal to valorize both the femininity and romantic soul of every woman.

A long-sleeve crepe gown is spectacular if you’re the type to keep things classic and, possibly, minimal. I’ve selected particularly two models from Monique Lhuillier last collection created for the minimal but stylish bride: a classic long dress with a wide front slit and v-neckline and a very scenographic ball gown with sweetheart neckline and trendy puff sleeves. Simply fabulous for a bride entrance to remember!

If instead you are a stylish bride with a touch of unconventional, go ahead with the always unique and elegant models by Naeem Khan. His embroideries and silhouettes are something anyone could be forgot.

For a more casual and intimate winter wedding, this season’s must have is the faux fur, while ultra-luxe details like metallic and sheer fabrics are just right for a holiday-themed evening wedding, when a bride can even dare to be extremely sexy and ready for an evening of crazy celebrations with her new husband and their closest friends. Which stylist to choose for a provocative but always high-class look? But Inbal Dror of course! Take a look at the proposals below that I have selected for you!
